Gloria is currently working on three children's books, and will begin work soon on a autobiographical self-help book.
Gloria newest performance vehicle is TV Tunez Tonight. The press release is below:
Well known for three television theme songs, singer-actress Gloria Loring, in association with Maybe It’s Today Productions, has created a new stage show celebrating television’s best theme songs, TV Tunez Tonight. Loring premiered the show Sunday, March 22, 2009 at The Music Box @ Fonda in Hollywood. Loring is the voice and co-writer of the “Facts Of Life” theme, as well as co-writer of the theme for “Diff’rent Strokes.” While playing “Liz Chandler” on “Days of Our Lives”, Loring premiered “Friends and Lovers” which shot to #1 on the charts. Loring is also responsible for introducing several love themes for “Days” characters.
Outrageous YouTube videos of fans lip-syncing Loring’s “Facts Of Life” along with Google chat rooms frequented by theme song enthusiasts inspired the idea for the musical. Loring is uniquely qualified to headline this performance vehicle. She has written and sung TV themes, and appeared on television shows whose theme songs are included. The TV gene was passed on to Loring’s son, Brennan, who was the voice of Dennis the Menace in the 80’s remake.
